Kemping Zator Awarded Four Stars
The Highest Campsite Standard in Poland
Kemping Zator has been awarded four stars – the highest category available to campsites in Poland. Located at 4 Andrychowska Street, approximately 5 kilometres from Energylandia, the holiday resort combines extensive facilities with a high standard of service. Maintaining this standard requires not only the right technical infrastructure, but above all a dedicated team that takes care of cleanliness, equipment and the comfort of guests every day.
Four Stars for Kemping Zator
This is important news for tourism in Zator. Kemping Zator has officially been classified as a four-star campsite, the highest category available for this type of facility in Poland. Information about its current four-star status is already available on the campsite’s official website.
Achieving such a standard is one thing, but maintaining it throughout the campsite’s day-to-day operation is another. At Kemping Zator, the entire team is responsible for the quality of the services provided. Staff regularly take care of the sanitary facilities, kitchens, communal areas, recreational spaces and all other infrastructure available to guests.
The high standard of the campsite is therefore confirmed both by the required documentation and official classification, as well as by the team’s daily work. This is particularly important during the summer season, when the campsite welcomes large numbers of families, motorhome travellers and visitors to the nearby amusement parks.
Guests Appreciate the Cleanliness, Facilities and Staff
The best way to assess the quality of a campsite is through the opinions of people who have actually stayed there.
Kemping Zator can boast excellent ratings on Booking.com. It currently has a score of 9.3 out of 10 based on 290 reviews. Guests rate the facilities and cleanliness particularly highly, with both categories receiving a score of 9.5. The staff, meanwhile, have been rated 9.4.
Reviews like these show that the four stars are more than just a symbol displayed next to the campsite’s name. Guests themselves notice the high standard of Kemping Zator, both in terms of its infrastructure and the quality of everyday service.
A Campsite Close to Energylandia, but away from the Hustle and Bustle
One of Kemping Zator’s greatest advantages is its location. The campsite is situated at 4 Andrychowska Street, approximately 5 kilometres from Energylandia. This makes it easy to reach the largest amusement park in the area while still being able to return to a much quieter setting after a full day of rollercoasters.
The campsite itself covers approximately 2 hectares and is fully fenced and illuminated. Green areas and woodland can be found nearby, making it a good base not only for people visiting Energylandia, but also for tourists looking for a more peaceful stay in the Zator area. Kemping Zator is also a member of the Polish Federation of Camping and Caravanning under registration number PFCC 173.
It is precisely this combination of proximity to the region’s most popular tourist attractions and the opportunity to relax away from the busiest part of the town that may be particularly attractive to families planning a stay of several days.
A place for motorhomes and tent campers
Kemping Zator is well prepared both for people travelling by motorhome and for tourists who prefer traditional tent camping.
Motorhome pitches are available with electricity connections and access to clean water for refilling tanks. Guests staying in tents have access to modern sanitary facilities with toilets and showers. There are also two communal kitchens with dining areas, equipped with a refrigerator, induction hob, dishwasher, kettle and microwave, among other amenities. Wi-Fi is also available.
For those who would like to try camping without having to purchase all their own equipment, an interesting option is the possibility of renting camping gear such as a tent, sleeping mat or sleeping bag.
This means that a stay at the campsite is not reserved only for experienced caravanning enthusiasts.
Laundry, Pet Care and Bicycle Rental
Kemping Zator also offers a range of practical services designed to make longer stays more convenient. Guests can use the laundry service as well as clothes drying and ironing services. This is particularly convenient for families with children, motorhome travellers and tourists staying in Zator for several days.
Another noteworthy service is all-day pet care while owners are away. Guests heading out for a full-day trip or visiting an amusement park can leave their dog, cat or other pet in the care of the campsite staff. While their owners are away, pets are properly fed, walked and provided with care and playtime.
The campsite’s offer is complemented by a bicycle rental service, allowing guests to conveniently explore Zator and the surrounding area without having to bring their own bikes. It is a good option both for those planning leisurely rides nearby and for tourists who want to actively discover the Carp Valley and local cycling routes
Family Holidays in Zator
Kemping Zator’s facilities are strongly geared towards family holidays. The campsite features, among other things, a playground with slides and a large sandbox, a 4.5-metre-diameter trampoline, a football pitch, and a fire pit and barbecue area designed for relaxing in the evenings.
Guests also have access to three swimming pools, which are an additional attraction during the summer season, especially for families with children. The campsite is fenced, and seating areas have been provided next to the playground so that parents can keep an eye on their children while they play.
There is also a grocery shop on site, while seasonal food service is available in July and August. Guests can also purchase tickets to Energylandia at reception.
More than Energylandia – Zator as a base for exploring lesser Poland
Although Energylandia remains the main reason many tourists visit Zator, the surrounding area offers many more ways to spend your free time.
Cycling routes and paths can be found within a short distance of the campsite, leading, among other places, towards the Skawa River and through the Carp Valley. The campsite also recommends nearby Zatorland, Wadowice, Lipowiec Castle and the many attractions of the Beskid Mały mountains as destinations for day trips.
As a result, Kemping Zator can serve as an accommodation base both for a weekend visit to an amusement park and for a longer stay focused on exploring Lesser Poland with the family, cycling and relaxing outdoors.
A Thank You to Our Guests
This success is the result not only of the work of the Kemping Zator team, but also of the trust and involvement of our guests. It is thanks to the people who choose to stay with us, return in subsequent seasons, share their opinions and recommend Kemping Zator to others that we are able to continuously develop our offer and maintain a high standard of service.
Every review, suggestion and positive recommendation is an important source of motivation for us and helps guide the direction in which we continue to develop. We would therefore like to sincerely thank all of our guests – the four-star rating, the campsite’s reputation and the quality we are proud of today are also the result of your trust and continued support.
The Highest Category and the next step in Kemping Zator’s Development
Receiving four stars is an important milestone in the campsite’s development. Some materials still available on the Kemping Zator website describe it as a three-star campsite, but the decision published by the campsite and issued by the Marshal of the Małopolska Region confirms that its category was upgraded to four stars as of 31 July 2026.
The campsite’s highest possible classification fits well with the overall development of tourism in Zator. The town has been attracting visitors with its amusement parks for years, but as the number of tourists continues to grow, a diverse range of accommodation is also becoming increasingly important – from hotels and apartments to campsites and motorhome pitches.
Kemping Zator demonstrates that staying in a tent or travelling by motorhome can be combined with extensive facilities, family-friendly attractions and a high standard of service. The four-star rating is official confirmation of this direction.
